The Granulit High-Shear Mixer Granulator ensures a homogeneous, rapid, and predictable granulation process for both aqueous and solvent-based applications, with batch sizes ranging from 1 to 1,250 L.

Wet granulation provides:

The Granulit High-Shear Mixer Granulator keeps the product under constant agitation, preventing lump formation and using up to 70% less binder than other types of granulators. This ensures complete control of process variables and enables the production of tablets with improved hardness and dissolution characteristics.

Its robust design prevents vibrations caused by motor power and by the rotation and mixing of the product during processing.

Key Features

• Built in accordance with GMP guidelines.
• The structure and base are manufactured in AISI 304 stainless steel, while all product-contact parts are made of AISI 316L stainless steel.
• Equipped with two variable-speed impellers: a low-speed impeller for product mixing and a high-speed chopper to reduce lump formation. Both shafts are fitted with pneumatic seals.
• The bowl lid features a one-piece, fully sanitary silicone gasket that can be easily removed for cleaning. Lid opening and closing are performed by means of a pneumatic actuator.
• Binder dosing is carried out through a peristaltic pump.
• Supports anything from a simple and cost-effective PLC-based control system to an advanced control platform with enhanced functionality and compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
