The high shear mixer Granulit assures a uniform, quick and foreseeable granulation. Suitable for acqueous and solvent granulation.

The granulator keeps the product in constant agitation, avoiding the generation of lumps.

Granulit is constructed according to the GMP guidelines. Its base and structure are made in AISI 304 stainless steel. Its robust design avoids possible vibrations produced by the motor power and by the rotation and mixing of the product. All parts in contact with the product are made in mirror-polished, AISI 316L stainless steel.

The bowl lid has an easy to remove, one-piece sanitary silicone gasket silicone gasket. Lid opening / closing is made through a pneumatic actuator.

The equipment has two variable speed rotors: one slow speed mixer blade, and a high speed granulation chopper. Both rotors shafts have pneumatic seals.

The high shear mixer granulator uses up to a 70% less binder agent than other types of granulators, total control of the process variables amounts to better tablet hardness and dissolution.

The binder agent dosing is made through a peristaltic pump.
